Listen, I’ve been hearing about all of you whining for almost 2 years about KD going to the Warriors and this somehow ruining the league. It’s funny considering the fact that almost every era in the history of the league has been dominated by a few teams with the exception of the parity infested 1970’s that you all didn’t bother to watch for a reason. Where were you guys whining when Kobe and Shaq were 3-peating. Oh wait it’s because all you Kobe Stans are in love with him so it was okay…

Admit it, most of you guys complain about KD because you don’t like seeing the Warriors dominating. You hate their 3 point shooting even if it comes with the great ball movement and passing. Some of you hate it because it hurts competition and I get that. But again, it’s always been that way. How many rings did Magic, Kareem, and Worthy win together in the 80’s? How many rings did Jordan win with Pippen in the 90’s?
The bottom line is that it is fun for you kids to marvel at super stars that dominated their competition in the past because they have multiple rings as a result. But it’s not fun to see a team do at the present time at the expense of parity unless it’s your favorite player. Don’t get me wrong, even though super teams in theory seem fun, a part of me still prefers the pre-Durant Warriors since Curry and Thompson had more usage and we got more Thompson 60 points in 29 minutes type of games. It’s less present now because of Durant. But you guys can thank Harrison Barnes for that with his performances in game 5, 6, and 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals.
No I won’t repeat his putrid stats because I wrote it on another article and I do not feel like copying and pasting those stats unto this. You can look it up yourself. Some of you will say that KD is a snake for going to a team that he was up 3-1 against. I’m not denying that but I am simply stating that he knows in the end of the day that history is told by the winner. 20 years from now, the runts then are going to be saying how great KD is and how he won many rings. They are going to forget how dominant the Warriors were before him and how they didn’t need him unless they do their extensive research (by extensive research, I mean by just looking up Kevin Durant and also the Warriors on Wikipedia for 2 minutes but that’s apparently too hard to ask).
All these 15 year old clowns will do is just say that Kevin Durant won 3 rings with a Finals MVP. They’ll ignore how it is so much easier for him playing with Curry, Thompson, and Green. Durant knows that. That’s why he made this decision even if we all thinks he sucks for it. You guys made this happen. You ignore great players because they didn’t win rings. It creates this. I dived more in to that in the Ringz Culture article. To be continued…
